Who's the data controller?

G.O.A.T (Grounds Of All Types) - a sole-trader business based in North Wales, contactable at [email protected]. We're the people responsible for any personal data you share with us.

What data we collect

• When you get a quote or contact us: name, email, phone, postcode, job description, optional photos.
• When you book or pay: card or Apple Pay details handled by Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers).
• When you visit the site: basic technical info (IP, browser, pages visited) via privacy-friendly analytics.

Why we collect it

• To quote, schedule and carry out the work you've asked for (legal basis: contract).
• To send job-related communications (booking confirmations, reminders, post-job review requests) (legal basis: legitimate interest).
• To meet tax, accounting and insurance obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We only share data with the suppliers who help us run the business:

• Stripe - payments and subscriptions.
• Google (Workspace / Gmail) - email.
• GoHighLevel - CRM, where your contact details, job history and invoices are stored.
• n8n (self-hosted on Catalyst Bridge servers) - handling website form submissions.
• Catalyst Bridge - our website and automation operator, acting as a data processor on our behalf.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing networks.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests that don't result in a booking: deleted after 12 months.
• Customer records (jobs and invoices): kept for the duration of the relationship plus 6 years for tax purposes.
• Marketing-related contacts: removed when you ask, or after 24 months of no engagement.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold on you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Ask us to stop processing it for direct marketing
• Ask for a portable copy
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
